First of all: you can find the latest information in our Festive Strava Club and on Instagram.
To take part, you must first cycle 500 km outdoors between December 24 and December 31. See the rules for more information. You must record and document these rides in a suitable form, e.g., via Strava, Komoot, or any other fitness app. Alternatively, photographic documentation of your odometer is also sufficient.
Once you have reached 500 km, send an email to festive@gnuseite.de with the following information: your full name, your postal address, and proof of the rides you have completed. This can be done, for example, via a link to your Strava/Komoot profile (please note that the profile must be set to “visible to everyone” at least for the short review period) or any other fitness app. If you do not wish to do this, we are also happy to accept screenshots of your activities, which you can attach to the email.
The badge for successful finishers costs €10. Of this, €5 goes to “Doctors Without Borders” as a donation, and we need €5 to cover our costs (badge, worldwide shipping, etc.). You can, of course, transfer a higher amount; anything above €10 will be donated to “Doctors Without Borders” without any deductions.
There are two ways to make a transfer:
Bank transfer:
- Team FangtDasGnu e.V.
- Sparkasse Chemnitz
- IBAN: DE92 8705 0000 0710 0595 23
- BIC: CHEKDE81XXX
PayPal:
- paypal.me/gnuteam
Once we have all the information we need and have received the money, the badge will be sent to you. Based on experience, this usually happens from mid-January onwards. If anything is missing, we will contact you by email.
Good luck!
