Voilà…
the Festive Patch 2025. Chemnitz, our hometown, is this year’s European Capital of Culture, and we are honouring this with two local references on our patch: on the right-hand side is Chemnitz’s new landmark, the ‘Bunte Esse’ (Colourful Chimney). A 302-metre-high (now decommissioned) chimney, which was designed by French artist Daniel Buren in seven colourful sections that are illuminated at night, making Chemnitz visible from afar. In the background, you can also see a stylised version of the ‘Fichtelberg’, Chemnitz’s local mountain, so to speak. At 1,215 metres, it is the highest peak on the German side of the Ore Mountains and the highest mountain in eastern Germany.
We think we’ve created a special patch that’s well worth the 500 km journey. What do you think?

Noch 2 Monate bis zum Start der 6. Ausgabe der Gnu-Festive 500. Unsere Heimatstadt Chemnitz ist dieses Jahr europäische Kulturhauptstadt und zu diesem schönen Anlass könnt ihr euch auf ein besonderes Festive-Patch freuen. Ihr dürft gespannt sein!
Auch dieses Jahr wieder wollen wir mit unserer Festive Gutes tun, Geld für „Ärzte ohne Grenzen“ sammeln und dabei zusammen die Grenze von 200 weltweit verschickten Patches knacken – also macht bitte Werbung und motiviert Freunde, Kollegen und Familie zum mitmachen. Denn: Radfahren, ein schönes Patch verdienen und dabei noch etwas Gutes tun – gibt es etwas schöneres?
